National Day of Prayer.
President Trump stated in his proclamation:
On this National Day of Prayer, we join together to offer gratitude for our many blessings and to acknowledge our need for divine wisdom, guidance, and protection. Prayer, by which we affirm our dependence on God, has long been fundamental to our pursuit of freedom, peace, unity, and prosperity. Prayer sustains us and brings us comfort, hope, peace, and strength. Therefore, we must cherish our spiritual foundation and uphold our legacy of faith.
People all over our country took time to pray for unity of our country. No matter what your religion, nationality, color of skin, or political view, we are all in need to come together as one nation not just for one day but for every day.
Make a commitment to pray daily for our country, our president and leaders, church families, cities and towns, neighborhoods, and families. Lets not just do this one day a year. Let’s do it every day of the year.
Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. Ephesians 4:3
Lifting you in prayer.
