This is one of our favorite healthy snacks. They are so easy to make, and quick to grab when the sweet tooth just won’t take “No” for an answer. Believe me, you eat one and you are done and satisfied.
HEALTHY SNICKERS Ice Cream Squares by Calla Clean Eats
Ingredients:
Banana – cut into 1 inch thick slices
Peanut Butter
Chocolate Chips – ¾ cups
Coconut Oil – 2 tsp
Directions
- Place one slice of banana (3/4-1 in slices) in each of the silicone Ice tray squares
- Place a small amount of peanut butter (microwave to soften) on top of the banana slice and spread to cover the banana
- Take ¾ cup chocolate chips and 2 tsp coconut oil. Melt in 30 second intervals until fully melted
- Place a spoonful on top of the peanut butter
- Shake around so that the chocolate is nice and even throughout the ice tray. Tap on counter to remove any air bubbles.
- Add crushed peanuts on top.
- Freeze 2 hours at least but better overnight.
Pop each one out and store in a freezer container or just remove a serving as needed.
